Introduction
Good decisions depend on good information. Here you can find answers about appointments, insurance, self-pay fees and how private and NHS care can work together.
Appointments and support
A first appointment is up to 60 minutes, allowing time to understand your symptoms, medical history and previous investigations. Follow-up appointments are up to 30 minutes, or up to 40 minutes when an echocardiogram is needed.
A chaperone will be offered when appropriate. You are also welcome to ask questions about this, or to let the clinic team know about any practical support that would help you feel comfortable.
